The gPod, is an iPhone case with an integrated gaming control pad that interfaces with the Apple 30 pin connector and provides tactile buttons in a conventional game pad layout. Suggested for iPhone game lovers. The gPod has been designed to help with the multitude of games that just don’t play well with touch or motion interface gestures. Including all the legacy games available via emulators. I think it is a fantastic idea and lets hope it goes in to production very soon.
The working prototype of gPod works with the first generation iPhone but a new gPod is currently under development for the 3G and 3Gs iPhones.
