Facebook, the most popular social networking site, has updated its app for Android devices, bringing some unique cosmetic changes as well as some new features and improvements. Now users can now play back H.264 video from within the Facebook app itself. This new version also supports Facebook events, which were previously missing from the mobile app.
The new front page has been redesigned to give more better appearance. Android users will now see a ‘Photo Reel’ near the bottom of the screen, populated with recent photo uploads from friends.
The notification bar is now a draggable drawer that offers more extensive notifications. It is also easier to respond to friend requests and easier to open shared Web links from the Facebook app. Facebook has recently stated that it has more then 50 millions users around the world. and In India it has beats the most popular Social Networking site, Orkut.
