If you are using a Mobile Phone which is not compatible with BSNL Automatic GPRS Setting Or If You are unable to receive automatic GPRS setting from BSNL then you can set it manually too. If you are using China, Korean, Japanese or Other Mobile Phones then you can not get BSNL GPRS setting from BSNL. So that you would be set it manually.
Set Your BSNL GPRS Manually As :
- Access point mane : bsnl-wap
- Data bearer : gprs
- Access point name : bsnlwap or gprssouth.cellone.in
- proxy address : 10.31.54.2
- proxy port no : 9401
- home page : http://localhost/home.wml
- user name : ppp Or leave it blank
- password : ppp123 Or leave it blank
- prompt password : no
All is Done just restart your Mobile and access BSNL GPRS. Make sure you have subscribed For any suitable GPRS Plan if not yet just Call Customer Care at 121 and ask about GPRS Plans according to your use.
