Aircel GPRS Manual Setting for Mobile Phones

If you are using Aircel mobile and want to access internet by using Aircel GPRS but feeling problem to getting automatic setting provided by Aircel. Don’t worry now you can set Aircel GPRS manually on your mobile phone. Just follow these steps.

GO TO MAIN MENU -> TOOLS -> SETTINGS -> CONFIGURATION -> PERSONAL CONFIGURATIONS -> OPTIONS -> ADD NEW -> SELECT “WEB”.

THEN PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

  • NAME : Aircel Online
  • Homepage : http://google.com
  • User Name : Blank
  • Password : Blank
  • Use preferred Access Point : No

Open Access Point Setting :

  • Proxy : Enabled
  • Proxy address : blank
  • port : 8081

Then Disabled the proxy again

  • Data Bearer : Packet Data

Bearer Settings :

  • Access point Name : aircelgprs.po (Postpaid) & aircelgprs.pr (Prepaid) don’t give space between letters.

Then Go to main menu and make your Personal Configuration settings as Default If you are using Nokia Mobile phone.

Now you have completed all the settings just restart your Mobile phone and start surfing The Web on Mobile with Aircel GPRS. To get GPRS settings Automatically Just SMS “WAP” To “121” Or “GPRS BP1st 3 letters of ur phone “brand” “phone model” and SMS it to “57788″.
